Mr Arvin has been unfailingly courteous, punctual and informative about my condition throughout my many consultations with him. His explanations have been clear and he has discussed my MRI scans and X rays fully with me and has offered full information about the options open to me. It was decided jointly, between Mr Arvin and myself that I should have an operation to drain the tumour inside my spinal column to relieve the pressure on various nerves which were affecting parts of my body. The operation,,syringo plural shunt , took place at Queen's on 16th May 2017 and I cannot speak too highly of the whole experience . Mr Arvin visited me in the ward four times during my stay enquiring about how I felt. He was ably supported by every member of staff from the moment of admission to the time I left four days later. Everyone was exceedingly kind, professional and patient throughout the entire stay. I cannot speak too highly of Mr Arvin and the whole experience at Queen's.

Mr Arvin is a kind caring surgeon who listens to your problems and sorts them out very fast I attended his clinic with acute sciatica and within four days I was having the operation for a bulging disc as soon as I came round I felt 100% better and felt like a new woman I cannot thank Mr Arvin enough for the fast response and aftercare I have received highly recommend him to anyone

He was aware of my concerns regarding my micro discectomy and did everything possible to allay the worries, taking his time to explain the procedure. I have received such a lovely care from mr Arvin. From the first day I saw him he had explained all my options,and made sure I was comfortable with my decision to have the surgery in the end. He had tried his absolute best to help, and I have to say great thank you as thanks to his work I'm now free if pain and my reflexes had returned. He is a lovely person with warm personality and great skills

A very Kind helpful Consultant surgeon. I had a micro discotomy on my lower back. Mr Arvin explained exactly what the operation entailed and the result that should come from it. Mr Arvin also talked me through the recovery period and had a Physio talk me through post op movements to assist my recovery.Everything went as planned I was even allowed home the same day. I feel a hundred percent better for this procedure, the severe pain has now gone.
